About Tender Tails
Tender Tails is a community assistance program founded and operated by Wags Bakery & Grooming. Our mission is to help dogs receive essential grooming care when their families are experiencing financial hardship or other challenging circumstances.
Through community support, sponsorships, donations, and contributions from Wags Bakery & Grooming, Tender Tails works to improve the health, comfort, and well-being of dogs in our communities.

Assistance Program Terms
Submission of an application does not guarantee approval, assistance, or grooming services.
All applications are reviewed individually and assistance is awarded based on available funding, program resources, and the specific circumstances presented in the application.
Tender Tails reserves the right to:
* Approve or deny any application
* Place applications on a waiting list
* Limit the number of services provided
* Request additional information when necessary
* Modify program guidelines at any time
Assistance is subject to funding availability and may be suspended or modified if funding becomes unavailable.

Grooming Services
Approved applicants will receive services through participating Wags Bakery & Grooming locations.
All pets receiving services through Tender Tails are subject to the same health, safety, vaccination, behavior, and handling requirements as any other client of Wags Bakery & Grooming.
Tender Tails and Wags Bakery & Grooming reserve the right to refuse services if a pet presents a safety risk to itself, staff members, or other animals.
Additional services beyond the approved assistance amount may be the responsibility of the pet owner.

Emergency Requests
Applicants may request priority consideration for emergency grooming situations.
Priority consideration may be given to circumstances involving:
* Severe matting
* Skin irritation or infection concerns
* Mobility issues caused by overgrown nails
* Senior or medically fragile pets
* Recent rescue or neglect situations
* Significant family hardship or emergency circumstances
Priority consideration does not guarantee approval or immediate service.

Donations & Sponsorships
Tender Tails is funded through:
* Community contributions
* Individual donations
* Business sponsorships
* Fundraising efforts
* Contributions from Wags Bakery & Grooming
Wags Bakery & Grooming proudly contributes **1% of all credit card sales** to support the Tender Tails Community Groom Fund.
All donations and sponsorships support the overall mission of Tender Tails and are used to provide grooming assistance and operate the program.
Donations are non-refundable.

Tax Information
Tender Tails is currently operated as a community assistance program through Wags Bakery & Grooming and is not presently a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Contributions made to Tender Tails are generally not tax-deductible charitable donations unless otherwise stated.
Donors should consult a qualified tax professional regarding any questions related to tax treatment.

Privacy
Tender Tails respects the privacy of applicants, donors, sponsors, and supporters.
Information submitted through applications, nomination forms, donation forms, and contact forms is used solely for:

Photo & Story Release
Applicants may choose whether to allow Tender Tails to share their dog’s story, photos, and transformation journey.
Participation in success stories, social media features, fundraising materials, or website content is completely voluntary.
Choosing not to participate will not affect eligibility for assistance.
Applicants may choose to:
* Allow full use of photos and stories
* Allow anonymous use of photos and stories
* Decline all public use of photos and stories

Success Stories
When permission is granted, Tender Tails may share before-and-after photos, pet stories, and program outcomes on:
* The Tender Tails website
* Social media platforms
* Marketing materials
* Fundraising campaigns
* Community outreach initiatives
Tender Tails will make reasonable efforts to honor requests for anonymity when selected by applicants.

Program Changes
Tender Tails reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the program, including eligibility requirements, assistance levels, sponsorship opportunities, and funding guidelines, at any time without prior notice.
